Troubleshoot problem

Hi

What are the options used to troubleshoot a problem caused by SELinux, when syslogd is not working? Im much tired can anyone help me out?

You can use the “setenforce” command with the 1 option to put SELinux in enforcing mode.
And you can easily switch to permissive mode by using 0 option

I think this will work out for you.

SELinux logs to auditd. Look for AVC errors in /var/log/audit/audit.log

i like the idea behind SElinux.

but i have one question, do we have to update and keep it up-to-date SElinux like other server components?
